Chad’s practice focuses on appellate litigation, critical motions, and strategic counseling. At the Supreme Court, his work includes Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo and Kennedy v. Bremerton School District. In the lower courts, Chad has litigated cases involving administrative law, bankruptcy, the Commerce Clause, the First and Second Amendments, the False Claims Act, and more.
Chad served as a law clerk for Associate Justice Neil M. Gorsuch of the U.S. Supreme Court, Judge Kevin C. Newsom of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and Judge Andrew S. Oldham of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School.
