Ilan’s practice focuses on appellate advocacy and strategic motions work. Ilan has helped draft successful First Amendment merits briefs in the Courts of Appeals. Before joining the firm, he worked as a legal fellow for the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty.
Ilan received his J.D. from the Georgetown Law University Center’s evening program. During his law studies, Ilan worked in the United States Senate as a policy aide with a legislative portfolio that encompassed a variety of issues, including the confirmation hearings of Supreme Court justices and regulation of the financial sector.
